Virtuoso Builders is a strong advocate for improving the efficiency of our structures, new or existing. The process of green building and retrofit (a.k.a. remodeling) incorporates environmental considerations into every phase of the home building process. That means that during the design, construction, and operation of a home, energy and water efficiency, lot development, resource efficient building design and materials, indoor environmental quality, homeowner maintenance, and the home’s overall impact on the environment are all taken into account.
We understand that the green movement train is just picking up speed in San Antonio and believe that “going green” is not an all or nothing option when building or remodeling your home. As members of Build San Antonio Green, our community’s local green building program, we can achieve any Level of Certification that you desire to the construction of your new home or your remodel. If you are not ready to go for an official Green Certification, let Virtuoso Builders educate you on easy options you can integrate into your home in order to keep your energy and water usage in check. We will also inform you about what federal and local credits and/or rebates are available to you for choosing qualified green upgrades.
Green Promise
By donating old appliances, cabinets, counters, plumbing fixtures and hardware to charity, we are reducing a large amount of waste that could have ended up in a land fill. We work closely with Habitat for Humanity, local theater groups and others to recycle, reuse, or resell waste from our projects.
